Meet the Authors
Feral Books authors have always been a little outside the mainstream. In high school, you’d have found them reading through lunch, staying after school for chess club, and listening to music by bands they’d never play at prom.
Although these talented authors hail from different places and spaces, they all have one common thread. They’re using their adventures in nonconformity to write books featuring neurodivergent characters.

Lucy Cruise
COZY MYSTERY AUTHOR
Lucy Cruise has been in love with technology since before she knew what to call it. If it beeps, orbits, or runs on code, Lucy is absolutely obsessed with it. Her sci-fi adventure novels are part Nancy Drew, part starship captain, and entirely fueled by the belief that the smartest person in the room should also be the most fun to read about.
When she’s not writing, you’ll find her eye pressed to her telescope, taking notes on things she definitely can’t explain in the vast and mostly unexplored universe.
Moselle Livesay
ROMANTASY AUTHOR
Moselle Livesay grew up believing the best stories were the ones she wanted to step inside and never leave. Now she’s writing the kinds of stories she always wished existed on her library shelf.
Her romantasy novels follow women who don’t need rescuing, just a quirky sidekick who can keep up while keeping it real. Her worlds are built on foundations of magic and the kind of adventure that you’ll want to escape into way past your bedtime. When she’s not writing, Moselle enjoys scribbling doodles in the margins of her journal and not returning phone calls.
Bette Lunde
PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER AUTHOR
Bette Lunde has been fascinated by the dark corners of the human mind since the day she helped her best friend escape a narcissistic spouse. What most people would find traumatic, she turned into research.
Bette spent decades in a high-stakes career that taught her exactly how far people will go to protect themselves. Now retired, she channels all of that energy into psychological thrillers that will make you question everyone you trust, including yourself.
R. A. Muth
COZY MYSTERY AUTHOR
R. A. Muth has always believed that the line between the living and the dead is thinner than most people are comfortable admitting. Her cozy paranormal mysteries follow amateur sleuths who stumble into quirky situations with considerably more grace than actual people would.
When she’s not writing, you’ll find her on the beach with a good book, sneaking off for a latte at her favorite coffee shop, or binging true crime shows with her husband and their dogs.
Dora Sage
WITCHY MYSTERY AUTHOR
Dora Sage grew up wishing she could live in Jeannie’s bottle and wiggle her nose like Samantha on Bewitched. When faced with a challenge, she still rules out all the magical solutions first before reluctantly trying the ordinary ones.
Her witchy mysteries are for the little girls who wear their Halloween witch hats year-round, the teens who wanted to storm Salem and save their dark and twisty sisters, and the women who know exactly what they’d do with a little well-placed magic and absolutely no supervision.
Hollis Sparks
LitRPG AUTHOR
Hollis Sparks played her first D&D game as a college freshman after her then-boyfriend told her girls don’t play D&D. She rolled a dwarven bard, nat-20’d her way out of that relationship, and never looked back.
After spending years writing homebrew campaigns for her found family, Hollis finally gained enough stat points in courage to share her books with the world. Her books are for everyone, because there’s always room for one more in the party.
Carter Stone
MIDDLE-GRADE MYSTERY AUTHOR
Carter Stone is a self-described glamping explorer who believes adventure is best experienced with great scenery, good snacks, and a comfortable place to sleep afterward.
Their middle-grade adventure mysteries are inspired by their real trails hiked, markets wandered, and locals they met along the way. Carter writes for bookworms of all ages.
